About the conference
The 18th International Congress of Quantum Chemistry will take place May 31st to June 5th, 2026, at the University of California, Berkeley, USA. The conference, organized by the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Sciences, invites scientists from around the world to share the latest advances in the field of computational and theoretical chemistry.

ICQC will have two rounds of registration, Early Bird and Regular. Early bird registration will run until March 31st, 2026.

Public transportation is available via the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system from either OAK or SFO. The closest BART station is Downtown Berkeley; the conference is approximately a half mile walk East from the station. More information about BART can be found HERE.

An expanded array of Campus Housing options for ICQC 2026 can now be purchased at the new ICQC Campus Housing Portal. When using the portal, be sure to use the email address that you gave during conference registration.
To accommodate the conference's opening ceremony, we have arranged for the check-in time to be 1pm on May 31st only. If you are checking in on another day, check-in time will be 3pm. Check-out time on your departure day is 11am.
The Helen Diller Anchor House is located conveniently next to the University of California, Berkeley. The conference venues are approximately a 10 minute walk away.

| Anchor House
U.C. Berkeley’s brand-new apartment-style accommodations which feature secure access, private bedrooms, and an impressive array of in-appartment features: bathrooms, washer and dryer for laundry, and kitchen complete with microwave, dishwasher, stove, large compartment sink with disposal, and full-size refrigerator. Early check-ins, which were sold out, have been expanded. By popular request, there are also now options for shorter 3 or 4 night stays. The cost is $180 per night, which includes all taxes and fees. Walking from Anchor House to the conference site takes about 10 minutes.
| Classic Dormitory
U.C. Berkeley’s Unit 3 residence hall offers two highly cost-competitive packages: a single-occupancy dorm room option at $105 per night and a share-with-one-roommate dorm room option at $74 per person per night (these prices include all taxes and fees). Bathrooms in Unit 3 are separated by gender but are otherwise communal. Walking from the dorms to the conference site takes about 5 minutes.
